Giuliana Barda
Comptroller
As Comptroller, Giuliana brings to her position 20 years of experience in finance and international business.
Prior to joining Goldman Investments, she served for 11 years as Asset Manager for an international real estate firm, overseeing operations for more than 100 commercial and residential properties in the New York City metropolitan area. Among her key responsibilities were developing and administering annual budgets; identifying opportunities to acquire strategic assets, enhance ROI and reduce risk; and utilizing her expertise in American accounting, banking, taxation, regulatory, construction and governance practices, in order to liaise effectively with a wide variety of third-party service providers. Earlier in her career, she oversaw financial operations, acquisitions, improvements and dispositions for an international realty firm with properties in Canada; served in Florida as founding controller for an international infrastructure for public works; and worked in health care accounting in New Jersey.
Giuliana was raised in Rome, where she earned a BBA from John Cabot College before emigrating to America and earning an MBA in Business and Finance from the University of Miami in Florida. A mother of three, she enjoys downhill skiing, yoga and cooking in her free time.
